A contribution can be:

  • For Decision: this implies that the group is explicitly requested to take a decision on the content of the contribution, and this decision shall be tracable (by the system, and in meeting minutes). When reserving a contribution "For Decision" its submitter MUST describe the requested decision.
  • For Discussion: this implies that the source of the contribution does not expect the group to take a decision on its content, but that he/she expects the group to dedicate some time for its presentation and for discussion. Example: a new version of a Draft that is not yet for approval.
  • For Information: this implies that the source does not explicitly require the group to spend time to discuss it. The contribution is made available to inform the group or some information for interest.
