Section on contribution of types: New Work Item Proposal

In this video you will be shown how to propose a New Work Item (NWI) to a given committee on a step by step basis. This process is fully automated in the system.

Once you have entered all the information about your NWI proposal, you need to make it available to follow the process and to allow the committee to take a decision on it.

This demo will show you how to change the status of a New Work Item Proposal from Available to ACCEPTED. The NWI can start its process within the committee when the contribution containing this proposal is put in status ACCEPTED.

If the Work Item proposal has been made at WG or TG level, it first needs the decision from the WG/TG and then the approval of the Technical Body. This mecanism will allow you to quickly proceed.

This demo will show you how to proceed to propose a contribution of type Draft to a WG/TG/TB. It also provides you with guidance in case the version of the draft you wish to contribute would not have been uploaded on the Latest Drafts application first.
